Kim adopts a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach to therapy, grounded in respect, curiosity, and compassion. She is committed to providing a safe and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard and supported to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences, deepen their self-awareness, and develop new perspectives that support healing and meaningful change.
Kim is a Clinical Psychology Registrar registered with AHPRA and is currently working towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. She has experience working across university counselling services, public health, and community settings. She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney and has supported adults and young adults with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, trauma, self-esteem difficulties, adjustment difficulties, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and health-related adjustments.
Drawing on evidence-based approaches, Kim tailors her work to the unique needs and goals of each client. She views therapy as a collaborative process and places strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship that supports clients to develop practical coping skills, deepen emotional awareness, and respond more flexibly to lifeβs challenges. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.
