Approach

Megan brings a warm, empathetic therapeutic style that prioritises trust, safety, and genuine connection. She values taking the time to understand each client’s unique needs, goals, and experiences, and believes in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship. Megan works collaboratively with clients to provide tailored, evidence-based treatment that feels relevant and aligned with their values and current life context.

Megan utilises trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming approaches, ensuring that therapy is grounded in an understanding of each client’s lived experience. In this way, she is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their journey toward meaningful change.

Megan has experience working with a diverse range of presentations, including anxiety and mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, trauma, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, disordered eating and body image concerns, stress-related conditions, and neurodivergence. She draws on a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Her integrative approach aims to support the development of both practical coping strategies and deeper self-understanding.
